Best time to travel to Tegucigalpa
Tegucigalpa offers warm weather year-round, but the rainy season from May through October can make outdoor exploration more difficult. The winter months are very popular and the city holds large celebrations at Christmas, the New Year and Easter. Perhaps the most well-known event in Tegucigalpa is the Feria de Suyapa, a weeklong celebration in early February to honor the nation’s patron saint.
