Mileage credit and expiration
Miles are subject to expiration from your MileagePlus account after 18 months of inactivity. If you earn miles through one of our partners, it may take up to eight weeks for the miles to credit to your account. If your miles expire after the transaction but before the miles are credited to your account, we will automatically reinstate your balance 7-10 days after the credit appears on your account.
