United premium cabin lounges

United Global First℠ Lounge

The United Global First Lounge is an oasis of service and privacy. Tailored to the needs of our international first class customers on long-haul international flights*, we offer personalized services, complimentary hors d'oeuvres and premium beverages.

Access policy

The following customers may access the United Global First Lounge by showing their United boarding pass for a flight arriving or departing on a same-day (within 24 hours) itinerary.

  • United Polaris first class customers traveling on long-haul international flights*
  • Star Alliance™ first customers departing on international flights

These eligible United Global First Lounge visitors are allowed to bring one adult or child with them as a guest.

*Long-haul international flights are between the U.S. and Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East or South America.

United Polaris lounge

The new United Polaris lounge is a stunning retreat offering exceptional comfort and luxury for our international premium cabin customers. This space was designed to offer the ultimate travel experience with comfortable seating, tucked-away relaxation areas, spa-like shower facilities, elevated service and customized amenities that help travelers relax before or after a long flight.

The first United Polaris lounge is located near Gate C18 at Chicago O’Hare. Eight additional lounges will open over the course of the next two years at Houston Intercontinental, Los Angeles International, New York/Newark, San Francisco, Washington Dulles, Hong Kong, London Heathrow and Tokyo Narita.

Access policy

The following customers may access the United Polaris lounge by showing their United boarding pass for a flight arriving or departing on a same-day (within 24 hours) itinerary.

  • United Polaris first class and United Polaris business class customers traveling on long-haul international flights*
  • Star AllianceTM first and business customers departing on international flights

United Polaris first class and Star Alliance first customers are allowed to bring one adult or child with them as a guest.

*Long-haul international flights are between the U.S. and Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East or South America.

Arrivals Lounge

Our Arrivals Lounge in San Francisco, located in Terminal 3 on the baggage level, is a retreat where United Polaris first and business class customers arriving by noon on a same-day ticket may freshen up with a shower. Guests can enjoy breakfast and use our complimentary Wi-Fi.

Our arrivals space at London Heathrow is a shared lounge in Terminal 2. United Polaris first and business class customers who arrive by noon on a same-day ticket are welcome to relax and refresh in this space.

Customers may not bring guests into the arrivals lounges.
