United Adventure Bear program

The mission of the United Adventure Bear program is to bring smiles to children in need across the globe. Proceeds from the program benefit organizations that help children. The 2016 program benefits the United States Olympic Committee, funding future U.S. Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls.

About the program

The United Adventure Bear program was created to increase United's impact in the communities we serve and provide opportunities for customers and co-workers to get involved in supporting our sponsored charities. United collaborated with Vermont Teddy Bear® to create the limited-edition 2016 Team USA Ben Flyin teddy bear.

Fundraising: The fundraising period takes place June through August. The 2016 beneficiary partner is the U.S. Olympic Committee.
Between now and August 31, 2016, you can:
1. Give a Bear, Get a Bear — With each $39.99 "Give a Bear, Get a Bear" contribution, donors receive their own Ben Flyin Adventure Bear, send a second bear to a child in need and make a donation to the program (price subject to tax, shipping and handling).
2. Give a Bear — With each $19.99 "Give a Bear" contribution, you provide a Ben Flyin teddy bear to a child in need and make a donation to the program.

Bear deliveries: In September and October, program partners and United co-workers will deliver bears to children around the globe who are experiencing health struggles or economic hardship. Adventure Bears have traveled within the U.S. and to more than 30 other countries, including China, Colombia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Peru and the United Arab Emirates.
