Your safety and the safety of our employees is our highest priority. To try and further limit potential exposure to coronavirus (COVID-19) on board, we’re temporarily adjusting our inflight service as of March 29 and will be moving to primarily pre-packaged foods and sealed beverages. Preorder meals and food for purchase will not be available. We’re also unable to offer special meals except for Kosher meals on flights to and from Tel Aviv.
Order your inflight meal ahead of time
We're here to make your travel easy and enjoyable, and that includes tailoring your trip to your tastes. Now, we'll email you before your flight so you can see the menu we'll offer on board and preorder your meal* — all before you even check in for your flight.
You can choose your meal starting five days before your departure and up to 24 hours before your flight. If you forget to choose a meal ahead of time, don’t worry — we'll still have a meal available for you on board.
How to choose your inflight meal
Step 1You’ll get an email notification 5 days before your departure for any flights eligible for preorder. You can also visit united.com/preordermeals and log in with your reservation information.
Step 2Take a look at our menu and choose the meal you’d like to enjoy on board. If you’re traveling with other people on the same reservation, you can choose their meals at the same time or come back later and choose for them up to 24 hours before your flight.
Step 3Save your choice and you’re done! When you’re on board, a flight attendant will confirm your choice and then it’s time to enjoy your meal.
