Starting November 1, get your bag delivered for free to your guest room at select hotels in the Marriott Bonvoy™ portfolio of brands when you fly United® Polaris® from New York/Newark (EWR) to London Heathrow (LHR).

There is no sign-up or registration required. Just drop off your bag(s) at London Heathrow after you've cleared customs and visited the Arrivals Lounge. Your bag will be delivered to your hotel room by early evening.

Bag-drop instructions:

  1. Exit the plane with your FastTrack slip in London
  2. Go through customs via the FastTrack lane
  3. Pick up your bag(s) at baggage claim, if you checked any bags
  4. Proceed through the doors and turn right
  5. Turn right again at the rental car desk, complete the necessary paperwork and drop your bag(s) at the bag drop desk by noon.

You're eligible for this free bag delivery if you're flying United Polaris from EWR to LHR and have a confirmed hotel reservation at one of the following London hotels in the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio of brands:

After you book a United Polaris ticket from New York/Newark to London Heathrow, visit hotel-deals.marriott.com/united-airlines to book a special limited-time package at one of the five participating hotels in the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. The package includes a room category upgrade to the next available room type (subject to availability)*, lounge access on the day of check-in and on the day of check-out and a £50 food and beverage credit to use during your stay.

Frequently asked questions

  • No need to register or sign up. If you're a United Polaris customer on a Newark/New York to London flight, just go to the bag drop desk at London Heathrow after you've cleared customs and have used the Arrivals Lounge.
  • You're eligible for free bag delivery if you're flying in United Polaris from EWR to LHR — even if you were upgraded at the gate — on a flight arriving in the morning with a confirmed hotel reservation at one of the following Marriott Bonvoy properties in London:
    • JW Marriott Grosvenor House London
    • London Marriott Hotel Canary Wharf
    • London Marriott Hotel County Hall
    • Sheraton Grand London Park Lane
    • St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel
  • You're not eligible for free bag delivery if you are a United Global Services® member or Premier® 1K® member flying in United Economy® or if your flight arrives in London after noon. You will also be ineligible if you approach the desk after noon whether that is due to a delayed flight or spending too much time in the Arrivals Lounge.
  • The desk is open from 6 a.m. to noon every day. The desk will not remain open beyond these scheduled times, even if flights are delayed.
  • You'll drop off your bag(s) at the bag-drop desk located in the arrivals hall. After customs and baggage claim, walk through the double-doors, turn right past the rental car desks. The bag drop desk is located opposite tourist information.
  • Nope! We're happy to deliver all the bags you're traveling with.
  • Your bag will be delivered to your hotel room by early evening. Please be sure to remove and take everything you may need during the day, prior to dropping off your bag(s).
  • Your bag(s) will be stored behind the bag-drop desk until delivery to the hotel. There will always be an employee at the desk to ensure your bag is never left unattended.
  • When you drop your bag at the desk, you'll receive a receipt that has a tracking number, so you can track your bag online at gcaresolutions.co.uk.
  • If your bag is damaged when it arrives in your hotel room, you can file a claim with United.
