Enhanced inflight entertainment

United is rolling out a new inflight entertainment system that features a curated experience based on how you want to spend your flight, flight timelines, food and drink menus, connecting and arrival gate information, and Spanish content for you to enjoy on the ViX channel in the near future.

Bluetooth FAQ

Enjoy movies, TV shows, podcasts and playlists with seatback entertainment. Easily connect your wireless headphones via Bluetooth, available on select flights.
- Click the Bluetooth icon located in the bottom right toolbar on the seatback screen.
- Disconnect your Bluetooth device from your personal device.
- Activate pairing mode on your device.
- Turn on “Bluetooth audio” on your seatback screen.
- Wait 5 seconds for your device’s name to appear on screen. If not, press “Refresh.”
- Once connected, enjoy using our inflight entertainment options.
Make sure both your seatback screen and headphones are in pairing mode. Only devices in pairing mode will appear on your screen.
If your device doesn’t appear after 10 seconds, select “Refresh list.” If it’s still not there, toggle “Bluetooth audio” off and on to restart pairing. Make sure you've unpaired your device from your personal one.
Select the Bluetooth icon from the toolbar to open settings. Select the disconnect button to unpair your headphones. Your headphones will also automatically unpair at the end of the flight.
You can only connect one Bluetooth audio device to a screen.

Don't worry if you forget your headphones for your flight. If they're available, you can request free earbuds.
