United Club and United Polaris lounge access

Relax before your flight by spending time in a United Club℠ location. Find out more about the different types of clubs and lounges we have across our network.

You can only use your own United Club membership card and same-day boarding passes to access our clubs. We may ask you to show a government-issued photo ID for verification.

Our standard club offering. Visit a United Club location for free food, drinks, comfortable seats and lots of outlets. Premium cabin customers on select flights, one-time passholders, United Club members, and eligible Star Gold members can access United Club locations and United Club FlySM.

Pets are allowed in most United Clubs and lounges. If your pet is not a service animal, it must stay inside a carrier during your visit.

  1. Re-entry to the airport after clearing customs is not permitted without further eligible onward travel. Access upon arrival is available to customers who have already made a domestic connection.
  2. Access is not allowed for customers with discounted industry, airline or staff travel tickets, unless specifically stated.
  3. United Polaris is available on trans-Pacific or trans-Atlantic flights, and on flights from the U.S. to these South American destinations: Buenos Aires, Lima, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Santiago. All other international routes are United Business® and include use of the United Club: Guam, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, Central America, Colombia and Ecuador.
  4. Long-haul international flights include those from the U.S. to Asia, Australia, Europe and select South American countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru.
