United Club membership and one-time passholders

United Club members
You will need a valid United Club membership, and same-day boarding pass for travel on a United, Star Alliance, or contracted partner operated flight. You can bring two adult guests, or one adult guest and dependent children under the age of 21.
United Club one-time passholders
You will need a valid United Club one-time pass and a same-day boarding pass for travel on a United, Star Alliance or contracted partner operated flight.
Military and other frequent flyer memberships
U.S. military personnel
Active-duty military members can visit United Club locations. You’ll need a valid military ID, boarding pass for travel within 24 hours on a departing United or United Express flight, and one of the following:

You can bring family members with gate passes or who are traveling on the same flight. Access is subject to seating availability.
Star Alliance Gold
If you belong to United’s frequent flyer program, a valid Star Alliance Gold membership card and a same-day boarding pass for travel on an international3 flight operated by a Star Alliance member airline, or a same-day boarding pass showing Star Alliance Gold status for travel on an international3 flight operated by a Star Alliance member airline, are needed to access United Club locations at the departure airport of their international itinerary
If you belong to a frequent flyer program for another Star Alliance member airline, a valid Star Alliance Gold membership card and a same-day boarding pass for travel on a flight operated by a Star Alliance member airline and departing from the same airport, or a same-day boarding pass showing Star Alliance Gold status for travel on a flight operated by a Star Alliance member airline and departing from the same airport, are needed to access United Club locations at the departure airport .
One guest is allowed if they’re traveling on the same flight.
Air Canada Maple Leaf™ Club
North America Plus members can visit United Club locations at departure airports in the U.S. Worldwide members can visit United Club locations at departure airports worldwide and bring one guest. You will needa valid Air Canada Maple Leaf Club membership card and a same-day boarding pass for a flight operated by a Star Alliance member airline.
Virgin Australia Velocity Frequent Flyer
Velocity Gold, Platinum, and VIP members can visit United Club locations and United Club Fly at departure airports. You will need a same-day boarding pass for an international United or Virgin Australia-operated flight. You can bring one guest to United Club locations.

Pets are allowed in most United Clubs and lounges. If your pet is not a service animal, it must stay inside a carrier during your visit.
- Re-entry to the airport after clearing customs is not permitted without further eligible onward travel. Access upon arrival is available to customers who have already made a domestic connection.
- Access is not allowed for customers with discounted industry, airline or staff travel tickets, unless specifically stated.
- United Polaris is available on trans-Pacific or trans-Atlantic flights, and on flights from the U.S. to these South American destinations: Buenos Aires, Lima, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Santiago. All other international routes are United Business® and include use of the United Club: Guam, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, Central America, Colombia and Ecuador.
- Long-haul international flights include those from the U.S. to Asia, Australia, Europe and select South American countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru.
