Allergies
For the safety of everyone on our flights, we don’t serve peanuts in our meals or snacks. We do serve foods that include other common allergens. Here you can find more information about traveling with a food allergy.
Flying with an allergy
Our snacks and meals are processed and sometimes served where food allergens are present. We also can’t stop customers from bringing food with them that might contain allergens, including peanuts. For both of these reasons, we can’t guarantee an allergen free flight.
Allergens on your flight
The menu options varies from flight to flight. All foods come with labels listing ingredients and allergens. Our foods may contain milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, wheat, soy beans, and sesame.
What to do
If you have a severe food allergy, let a flight attendant know before your flight leaves. They’ll ask the passengers seated near you not to eat any food containing allergens that they have brought with them. However, we can’t force people not to eat their own food. You can also request to board your flight early to wipe down seats, tray tables, the plane wall and window. Many flights still pass out sanitizing wipes, but we suggest bringing your own to be safe.
Special meals
If your next flight has meal service and you have a food allergy, you can make a special meal request and we’ll take care of the rest.
