Excursionist Perk

The Excursionist Perk is a free one-way award within select multi-city itineraries. Members who book a trip with three or more one-way awards can get the first award for free, if the trip meets all these conditions:

  • Your trip starts and ends in the same region.
  • The free Excursionist Perk flight starts and ends in the same region.
  • Your trip starts in a different region than the free Excursionist Perk flight.
  • The free Excursionist Perk flight must be in a lower award tier or cabin than the flight before it.

Here are some examples of award trips that would qualify for the Excursionist Perk.

Chicago to Paris roundtrip with a layover in London. The flight from London to Paris is free with the Excursionist Perk:
