Our Fleet
PRODUCT INVESTMENT United operates nearly 700 aircraft, aside from our United Express® regional aircraft, and we have made large-scale investments throughout our fleet. This includes our onboard products; United now offers more flat-bed seats in our premium cabins and more extra-legroom seats in our economy cabins than any other airline in North America. In January, United became the first U.S.-based international carrier to offer satellite-based Wi-Fi on some long-haul overseas routes. We also feature DIRECTV® on 200 aircraft, providing customers with more live television access than any other airline in the world. This year, United will continue to modernize our fleet by taking delivery of more than two dozen new Boeing aircraft.
