Inflight Wi-Fi

United Wi-Fi

We are in the process of installing United Wi-Fi, and it is now available on select aircraft. You can return to this page for additional details on fleet status and new inflight services as the program expands.
Look for the Wi-Fi logo on the side of the plane as you board or listen for the announcement by your flight crew once your flight has reached 10,000 feet.

To determine if a flight offers United Wi-Fi, you can check the Inflight Amenities tab on the Flight Status & Information page for an upcoming flight, look for the Wi-Fi logo on the side of the plane as you board or listen for the announcement by your flight crew once your flight has reached 10,000 feet. United Wi-Fi pricing will vary based on the length of the flight.

How to connect to United Wi-Fi and purchase Internet access

  1. Once your flight crew says that it's safe to use portable electronic devices, turn on your Wi-Fi-enabled device and select the "United_Wi-Fi" hotspot.
  2. Launch your device's Internet browser. If you are not automatically directed to the United Wi-Fi portal, enter "www.unitedwifi.com" in your browser's address bar.
  3. Click "Purchase access" and enter the requested information. (Note: JavaScript and cookies must be enabled on your device in order to purchase Internet access.)
  4. Enjoy surfing the Web above 10,000 feet.
