Important information you should know before you request mileage credit
Miles earned for travel on United®, Star Alliance® member carriers or partner airlines
- Mileage credit should be reflected in your account within 96 hours after travel is completed, but it may take up to 15 days.
- If after 15 days your mileage credit has not been posted, please contact the MileagePlus Service Center at mileageplus@united.com.
- For missing mileage credit requests for flights on Star Alliance airlines, email or submit a scanned copy of your ticket receipt or travel agency invoice, including ticket number and a scanned copy of your boarding pass.
Award miles earned with non-airline partners
- For non-airline partners, mileage credit should be reflected in your account within six to eight weeks, depending on the partner.
- Please keep your documents until the mileage credit appears on your MileagePlus® statement.
