Mileage credit should be reflected in your account within 48 hours after travel is completed. If your flight credit has not posted after seven days, submit a request for mileage credit.

Star AllianceTM member airlines
It may take up to 15 days for mileage credit to display in your account, due to variations in processing times across the wide network of Star Alliance member airlines. View the full list of Star Alliance member airlines.
If your mileage credit has not been posted after 15 days, submit a request for mileage credit.

Aer Lingus and Jet Airways
It may take up to 15 days for mileage credit from Aer Lingus and Jet Airways to display in your account. If your mileage credit has not been posted after 15 days, submit a request for mileage credit.
Travel on other airline and rail partners
It may take up to 15 days for mileage credit from these partners to display in your account. View the full list of other airline partners and information about Amtrak.
If your mileage has not been posted after 15 days, you may submit a request for mileage credit online or by mail.
Online: The preferred and quickest way to submit your request is through the Contact MileagePlus form.
- When submitting this form, please make sure you include your:
- MileagePlus number
- First and last name, as displayed on your ticket
- Email address
- Select the subject "Mileage Credit."
- Attach scanned copies of your ticket receipt(s) and boarding pass(es). Please note: Only the following file types will be accepted: .jpg, .gif, .pdf, .png and .tif. File size should not exceed 1.1 MB.
Contact MileagePlus
By mail: If you are unable to use the MileagePlus contact form, submit your request to the mailing address that corresponds to your country of residence. We require a short note describing the request and containing your contact and travel information, including:
- MileagePlus number
- First and last name, as displayed on your ticket
- Full mailing address
- Email address
- Photocopies of your ticket receipt(s) and boarding pass(es)
- View mailing addresses for submitting missing mileage requests

Non-airline partners
Posting times may vary among our extensive network of non-airline partners. It may take up to eight weeks for non-airline partner mileage credit to be reflected in your account. Please keep your receipts and any other relevant documents until the mileage credit appears on your MileagePlus statement.
If your mileage credit has not been posted after eight weeks, you can submit a missing mileage request.
