| CHICAGO, Jan. 11, 2010 – United Airlines today launched its Fly One, Get One FreeSM offer for Colorado travelers, encouraging residents of the Centennial State to experience the airline's international network and first class comfort. This spectacular promotion offers a free* international or domestic roundtrip ticket and two North American upgrades when a qualifying international or domestic flight is purchased by Feb. 14.
Customers who purchase a qualifying ticket for travel within North America – including the continental U.S., Hawaii, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean – will receive a free ticket to any United destination in North America. Customers who purchase a qualifying ticket for trans-Atlantic, trans-Pacific, Brazil or Argentina travel will receive a free ticket to any destination served by United around the world. Customers who book a roundtrip ticket by Feb. 14 for travel to be completed by March 5, with itineraries originating and ending in Denver or any of the other Colorado cities with United service can qualify. The promotion applies to published United Economy® fares in booking classes Y, B, M, E, U, H and Q. Other restrictions apply. Registration is required. Qualifying fare terms and conditions:
To qualify for a free ticket and two CRU (confirmed regional upgrade) per Mileage Plus membership number, you must travel from any city United serves in Colorado to any available destination served by United®. Earn a free ticket for every qualifying flight ticketed and traveled within the qualifying period. Limit two CRUs per Mileage plus member. Purchase requirements: Qualifying travel must be purchased by February 14, 2010 and all travel must be completed no later than March 5, 2010. Only new ticket purchases qualify. For tickets purchased through United reservation offices or at airport ticket counters, additional reservation fees will apply: $25 for United reservation office bookings and $30 for airport ticket counter bookings. Fares for Hawaii and Alaska do not include an $8.10 (each way) departure tax. For travel from Canada, fares do not include U.S. Inspection fees of $7, taxes/fees imposed by the Canadian government of up to $19.50, and a $32.20 international departure and arrival tax if outside of the 225-mile buffer zone. Terms and Conditions for Confirmed Regional Upgrade
Valid Carrier: This upgrade certificate may be used only on United or United Express flights (only on multi-cabin aircraft) and not on flights operated by other airlines. Upgrade requests for flights marketed by other airlines but operated by United are only permitted at the airport on the day of travel, subject to availability.
Valid Routing: This upgrade may be used for travel on United or United Express operated flights within Region 1, which includes North America, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean and Central America for a flight through December 31, 2010. For specific definitions please refer to united.com. Stopovers are not permitted.
Upgradeable Booking Classes: This upgrade may be used on United Business (J,C, D) and United Economy fares (Y, B, M, E, H, U, Q, V, W, S, T, K, L) in Region 1, except where the terms and conditions of sale state that the booking class is not eligible for upgrade.
Non-Upgradeable Tickets: This upgrade may not be used on any booking classes not specifically listed as upgradeable, or on any Mileage Plus® award ticket. Some Internet sites, such as Priceline.com and Hotwire.com, issue tickets that are not upgradeable. Please check with your Internet site for terms and conditions.
Mileage Plus Accrual: The Mileage Plus miles earned will be based upon the class of service purchased, not the upgraded class of service.
Ticketing: Ticket must be issued in the purchased United Economy class or United Business class fare. Ticket will not be reissued using this upgrade certificate.
Request Upgrade: The upgraded United First NF booking class or United Business NC booking class of service may be requested after ticket is issued in the purchased United Economy class or United Business class fare. If available, the upgraded class will be confirmed and a seat assignment may be requested. The upgraded NF/NC booking class may not always be available on all flights or on all days of the week when traveling.
Upgrade Processing: For United- and United Express-operated flights, upgrade may be requested any time after ticketing, and this upgrade will be processed based on the availability of capacity-controlled seating. Upgrades are subject to availability.
Upgrade Rules: Multiple certificates or awards may not be combined to obtain a two-cabin upgrade. For flights that stop en route, the upgrade is only permitted when the upgraded seating is available and confirmed on all portions of the flight.

Other Important Notes: This upgrade certificate may only be used to upgrade one person. Certificate has no cash value and may not be altered or duplicated.
