Earn up to a 50 percent discount on travel in 2010

CHICAGO, Sept. 17, 2009 – United Airlines announces the launch of a promotional offer that enables customers to earn an electronic certificate for up to 50 percent off a domestic flight booked for next year. 

The electronic certificate is redeemable for discounted travel between Feb. 1, 2010 and May 31, 2010 and is based on the number of qualifying roundtrips taken throughout the remainder of 2009.  Customers can increase their discount total with each additional itinerary until they reach the maximum 50 percent discount after completing six or more paid qualifying roundtrips.

The promotional offer is valid for customers traveling in United First®, United Business® and United Economy®.

*To qualify for this offer, members must register, then purchase and complete at least one paid, qualifying roundtrip flight on United® or United Express® operated flights within the following ticketing and travel periods. Ticketing Period: September 14 - December 31, 2009; Travel Period: September 14 - December 31, 2009.   For this offer, roundtrip travel is defined as two each-way segments with outbound travel from an origin city to a destination city and return travel from the original destination city to the original departure city. All segments must be on United or United Express, booked under one reservation and on one ticket. Open jaw and circle trips do not qualify.
