CHICAGO, May 4, 2009 - United Airlines today reported its preliminary consolidated traffic results for April 2009. The company reported an April consolidated passenger load factor of 79.9 percent. Total consolidated revenue passenger miles (RPMs) decreased in April by 8.7 percent on a consolidated capacity decrease of 8.7 percent in available seat miles (ASMs) compared with the same period in 2008.
