United Airlines Reports Record September Traffic Results

CHICAGO, Oct. 3, 2007 United Airlines today reported its preliminary traffic results for September 2007. The company reported that it tied its record for the highest-ever September passenger load factor of 80.2 percent, which it previously reached in September 2005. Total scheduled revenue passenger miles (RPMs) decreased in September by 0.8 percent on a capacity decrease of 1.7 percent in scheduled available seat miles (ASMs) compared with the same period in 2006.
