Adds new service to Dayton, Ohio, and Kalispell, Mont.
Resumes service to Raleigh-Durham
CHICAGO, Jan. 16, 2007 -- United Airlines today announced it is adding new service from Denver across the United States, further strengthening the carrier's second-largest hub. New nonstop passenger and cargo service on United ExpressÒ between Denver and Dayton, Ohio, begins April 24; and between Denver and Kalispell, Mont., begins June 7. United is also resuming service between Denver and Raleigh-Durham, N.C., beginning April 24. Flights are now open for sale.
"We are pleased to continue to strengthen our Denver hub by offering our customers service to new business and leisure destinations," said Kevin Knight, senior vice president of Planning. "In addition to taking customers to national parks and ski resorts of Montana, or the business centers of the Midwest and South, these new flights will provide connection opportunities to cities across the country and around the world, through Denver."
Daily nonstop service between Denver and Dayton, Ohio, will be offered on explusSM, the United Express regional jet service with the most premium seats of any regional jet carrier, including the amenities of first class and the extra legroom of Economy Plus®. United Express partner GoJet will operate the flights using CRJ7 aircraft configured with 6 United First® seats and 60 United Economy® seats, including 28 Economy Plus® seats.
United Express partner Skywest will operate year-round, twice-daily service between Denver and Kalispell, Mont. -- near Glacier National Park and Big Mountain Ski Resort -- using a CRJ aircraft configured with 50 United Economy seats.
United will offer nonstop, first-class service between Denver and Raleigh-Durham -- both North Carolina cities named among Forbes' 2006 top five "Best Places for Business and Careers." This service will be offered beginning April 24.
United also recently announced it will offer daily nonstop service on explus between Denver and Huntsville, Ala., beginning Feb. 14.
United Mileage Plus members who fly on nonstop flights to or from Kalispell (FCA) between June 7, 2007, and July 15, 2007, can register to earn double miles through a special promotion available on united.com/airpromo.
Customers will earn up to 500 bonus miles each time they purchase qualifying travel at united.com, which also offers no booking fees and the guaranteed lowest United fares. Customers can also earn 500 bonus miles each time they check in for a flight using EasyCheck-in Online at united.com by Jan. 31, 2007. Customers can earn up to 1,500 bonus miles on a roundtrip itinerary for booking on united.com and checking in using EasyCheck-in Online for both the outbound and return flights.
