CHICAGO, December 16, 2004 — United and Ted today kicked off new expanded service from each of their five hubs to island and beach vacation areas throughout Mexico and the Caribbean. Passengers who travel on United or Ted between the United States and Mexico or the Caribbean between January 10, 2005 and March 12, 2005 are eligible to earn 1,500 bonus miles, plus an additional 1,000 bonus miles when booking online at united.com.

Expanded service beginning today includes the Mexican destinations of Cancun, Cozumel, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Los Cabos, and Puerto Vallarta; and the Caribbean destinations of Aruba, Montego Bay, Punta Cana, San Juan, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas, as well as San Jose, Costa Rica.
Ted has successfully served low-fare leisure and business travelers throughout the United States, and will handle a portion of the new flying to Mexico.
