More Comfort, Enhanced Service Arrives on United Flights Between New York - San Francisco, Following Successful New York-Los Angeles Launch

CHICAGO – December 13, 2004 – United Airlines’ (OTCBB: UALAQ.OB)  new premium service for coast-to-coast travelers called p.s.SM   is now flying on an additional transcontinental route:  New York - San Francisco. Recently launched between New York and Los Angeles, p.s. offers travelers more space and comfort, and a superior level of service on their five- to six-hour transcontinental flight.

“We’re pleased to bring our successful p.s. service that flies between New York and Los Angeles to our customers who travel between New York and San Francisco,” said Martin White, senior vice president – Marketing. “p.s. delivers the space, comfort and enhanced service that our customers have told us they want when flying coast-to-coast, and at the same price they pay today.”

United’s new p.s. service between John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) will roll out through March 2005.  The p.s.service between JFK and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) started on Oct. 29, 2004, and is scheduled to roll out by year end.
