CHICAGO, March 30, 2004 - Ted says splurge on your vacation, not your airline! Ted, United's new low fare service, launched an exciting promotion today, offering Ted travelers fares of $99 or less each way, based on required roundtrip purchase in all Ted markets. Customers can view and purchase these great fares at www.flyted.com. Fares must be purchased between March 30 and April 9, for travel between April 26 and June 11. All travel must take place on Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday. Other terms and conditions apply. See below for details.

FARE FACTS: Fares above are each way based on required roundtrip purchase for United Economy® travel on TedSM. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights/dates. Purchase Requirements: Tickets must be purchased at least 14 days in advance and within 24 hours of making reservations, but no later than 4/9/04. Fares apply to U.S. point-of-sale only. Reservations and ticket purchases on flyted.com must be completed simultaneously. Travel Days/Dates: Fares above are valid for travel from 4/26/04 through 6/11/04, and are valid for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday only. Fares for other days of the week are higher. Ted service begins on the following dates between: Washington Dulles and Tampa on 4/28/04, Washington Dulles and Orlando on 5/8/04, Chicago and Tampa on 5/24/04, and Chicago and Las Vegas on 6/3/04. Blackout Dates: None Min./Max. Stay: Fares require a one-night minimum stay. The maximum stay is 30 days. Additional Taxes/Fees: Fares do not include a $3.10 per flight segment tax. A flight segment is defined as one takeoff and one landing. Fares do not include the September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 maximum per roundtrip or Passenger Facility Charges of up to $18, which may be collected depending on the itinerary. Itinerary Changes: Tickets are non-refundable. No changes may be made after ticketed departure date for any portion of the ticket. Tickets whose reservations are cancelled prior to the ticketed departure date are valid for travel one year from the original issuance date. Changes made on or before departure are subject to fare rules and a service charge of $100. If a reservation is not cancelled before the ticketed departure date, the ticket has no value.
