United Airlines to Offer Saturday Non-Stop Service Between Chicago and Bermuda

Service Begins May 1; $239 Promotional Fare Offered Through February 20

CHICAGO, February 4, 2004 - United Airlines (OTCBB: UALAQ.OB) today announced that it will launch Saturday only, non-stop service to Hamilton, Bermuda (BDA) from its hub at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) effective May 1, 2004. Flights are available for booking beginning immediately.

"We are excited to be offering the only nonstop service from Chicago to this premier destination," said Kevin Knight, vice president - resource planning. "The addition of Bermuda service also complements United’s other flights to the regional leisure destinations of Aruba, Cancun (effective February 14, 2004), Grand Cayman Island, U.S. Virgin Islands and San Juan, Puerto Rico, from its hubs at Chicago-O’Hare and Washington-Dulles International Airport."

Bermuda’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Transport, Dr. the Hon. Ewart F. Brown, expressed the Bermuda Government’s appreciation for United’s new nonstop service between Chicago and Bermuda, calling it "one of the most significant air service developments for Bermuda in the past decade. Chicago is the transportation hub for the U.S. Midwest region and has long been coveted as a new gateway city for Bermuda. Bermuda applauds United’s willingness to innovate."

United also announced a $239 promotional fare. The promotional fare is each way based on required roundtrip purchase from Chicago to Bermuda. Purchase must be competed by February 20, for travel through September 11. Other terms and conditions apply.

The service will use Airbus A320s with 138 seats, configured with 12 seats in United First® and 126 seats in United Economy®. The southbound flight will depart Chicago on Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. and arrive in Bermuda at 1:29 p.m. The return flight will depart Saturday afternoon from Bermuda at 2:29 p.m. and arrive at Chicago at 4:15 p.m.
