If you earn 50,000 elite status miles (EQM) or 60 elite status segments (EQS) between Jan 1, 2011, and Dec 31, 2011, you attain Premier Executive® status in the United MileagePlus® program. Paid, qualifying miles earned on most published fares Star Alliance® member flights also count toward elite status.
Starting Jan 1, 2012, when you earn 50,000 Premier qualifying miles (PQM) or 60 Premier qualifying segments (PQS) in a calendar year, you could be eligible for Premier Gold® status in United MileagePlus®.
