If you earn 25,000 elite status miles (EQM) or 30 elite status segments (EQS) between Jan 1, 2011, and Dec 31, 2011, you attain Premier® status in the United MileagePlus® program. Paid, qualifying flight miles earned on most published fares on Star Alliance® member flights also count toward Premier status.
