New: Westin Renewal Lounges Westin Renewal Lounges have opened in two Red Carpet Club locations: San Francisco (Terminal 3 by gate 80) and Los Angeles (Terminal 7 by gate 70), and in one First Class Lounge in New York (JFK terminal 7). The lounges provide a soothing environment for relaxing and escaping the hustle and bustle of the airport. Four Red Carpet Club lounges to be closed
United has decided to close the Red Carpet Club lounges in Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas and Minneapolis. The decision was based on a number of factors, including high fuel costs, customer usage, operating costs and alignment with corporate strategy. The Atlanta, Baltimore and Dallas lounges will be closed as of September 1, 2008. The Minneapolis lounge will close on September 12, 2008. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Red Carpet Club members will continue to enjoy access to 34 Red Carpet Club lounges worldwide, along with over 500 Star Alliance lounges when traveling internationally on a Star Alliance carrier.
New Red Carpet Club at O'Hare
The new Red Carpet Club is now open at Chicago O'Hare International Airport this year. This brand new, spacious lounge replaces the existing club near gate B18.
