We have expanded our partnership with Aer Lingus to offer daily service between Washington Dulles and Madrid beginning March 28, 2010. This new United-marketed codeshare service will be operated by Aer Lingus Limited. United offers convenient connecting service to Madrid via Washington, D.C., from 73 origin cities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Present your Mileage Plus® number when making reservations and you can earn. Mileage Plus members can accrue miles on the United-marketed, Aer Lingus-operated flights between Washington Dulles and Madrid. The flight miles you earn on these flights qualify toward elite status. You earn one Elite Qualifying Mile (EQM) for each flight mile you earn and one Elite Qualifying Segment (EQS) for each segment you fly. As a Mileage Plus member, when you fly on the United-marketed, Aer Lingus-operated codeshare flights between Washington Dulles and Madrid, you earn an additional 50% EQM/EQS bonus for paid tickets in business (J, C, D, Z) and unrestricted economy (Y, B) classes.

Terms & Conditions Mileage earn and use is possible only on scheduled flights operated by the airline partner. Flights and routes may be changed by the airline partner at short notice. The miles earned are determined by the operating airline. Please note that the booking code shown on your ticket may differ from the booking code relevant for mileage earn. Please retain your boarding pass and a copy of your ticket until the mileage credit is reflected on your Mileage Plus statement. The general terms and conditions for the Mileage Plus program will apply.

Missing Mileage Credit
Ensure your Mileage Plus number is in your reservation at check-in. But if you do not receive your miles go to Flight Mileage Credit page.

Mileage Plus program match
If you are a Mileage Plus elite member, you’ll earn the elite level mileage bonus (redeemable mileage credit) when you fly United-marketed Aer Lingus-operated flights between Washington Dulles and Madrid:

• Premier members earn a 25% redeemable mileage credit bonus
• Premier Executives and 1K members earn a 100% redeemable mileage credit bonus

Upgrades
Mileage Plus members can request or sponsor an upgrade on the United-marketed, Aer Lingus-operated flights between Washington Dulles and Madrid. The process is the same as for a United-operated flight.

Redeem miles
Mileage Plus members can redeem their miles on Washington Dulles to Madrid flights just as you can on any United Airlines flight. You can redeem your miles for Star Alliance Saver or Standard Awards, Mileage Plus Upgrade Awards, One-Way Awards or use miles and money for an award.
