We have all seen the results of the devastating impact on the lives and livelihoods of millions of Haitians in the aftermath of the powerful earthquake that struck on January 12.

Some of us have friends and relatives that have been impacted by this disaster, and the country is in desperate need of support.

We can all assist the response effort by contributing monetary donations to the American Red Cross through the International Response Fund. The United Airlines Foundation will match up to a total of $50,000 to the American Red Cross in donations made through their links on this page.

Another way you can help is to donate Mileage Plus® miles to the American Red Cross, Operation USA or Airline Ambassadors through our Charity Miles program. These miles can be used by the American Red Cross to assist in getting aid workers to affected areas.
