All United Economy Plus Annual Option ("United Economy Plus") terms and conditions apply and are separate from the Cardmember Agreement that governs the terms of the United Mileage Plus® Visa Access card account issued by Chase Bank USA, N.A. Chase is not responsible for the provision of or failure to provide the stated benefits and fulfillment of United Economy Plus membership. When you register in United Economy Plus, if you do not designate a giftee, the Primary Cardmember on the United Mileage Plus Access card account will be enrolled in United Economy Plus. You will earn 1 miles for each $1 of net purchases. There is no maximum number of miles that you can accumulate in the program. You do not earn miles on balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like charges such as travelers checks, foreign currency, and money orders, any checks that are used to access your account, overdraft advances, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including fees for products that protect or insure the balances of your account.

As a one-time bonus each Year, once you reach $35,000 or more in net purchases, and you make one additional purchase within that Year, you will receive 5,000 EQM. Also, you can earn up to 5,000 additional EQM each Year at a rate of 1 EQM for each $10 of net purchase over $35,000 in net purchases. ("Year" means, for your first year as a cardmember, the period beginning with your enrollment date through your December statement date of that same year. For each year thereafter. "Year" means the twelve month period beginning the day after your December statement date through your December statement date of the next year.) If you have more than one United Visa account you can earn EQM on each account. EQM will appear on each account statement; however, under the United Mileage Plus terms and conditions, the maximum number of EQM that can be awarded to your United Mileage Plus Member Number is 10,000 each calendar year. Any excess EQM will be forfeited. EQM are not redeemable for travel at United. EQM are used solely towards elite status qualification. See Rewards Program Rules and Regulations, which will be mailed after your account is established.
