United TMCPlusSM is a Travel Management Company (TMC) program that provides incentives to TMCs that are committed to partnering with United. This program gives TMCs the ability to manage their own incentive earnings by increasing their sale share to United.

The TMCPlus program can include United only or a combination of United and any of three key Star Alliance partners: Lufthansa, Austrian and Scandinavian. This program delivers value to TMC customers through five key elements:

  • Program dynamics - This simplified and personalized program is designed to create value based on the unique needs of each TMC, leading to the development of an evergreen contract.

  • Measurement clarity - Fair metrics and a trusted data source make the program easier to understand and thus more credible.

  • Sales partnership experience - The partnership between the TMC, participating Star Alliance partners and the United Account Manager delivers additional value through ongoing account management and support.

  • Performance and service support - TMCs are able to benefit from monthly detailed reports and electronic payouts, as well as assistance from our dedicated support team for crucial ticketing needs.

  • Online services - A secured online portal gives each TMC access to reports, contract parameters and estimation tools, making it easier to manage the partnership with United.

TMCPlus offers two program tiers that help match the needs of TMC customers:

  • TMCPlus PartnerSM - This is a core agreement which enables TMC customers to build value by utilizing their evergreen contracts on United Airlines in conjunction with Lufthansa, Scandinavian and Austrian.

  • TMCPlus ExecutiveSM - This agreement allows the most loyal TMC customers, those who have committed to share targets in return for additional program components, to take advantage of additional reward opportunities.
