Instructions for using united.com BagCheck kiosks

After locating a united.com BagCheck kiosk at the airport:

Step 1: Press Start on the screen

Step 2: Select the "Scan Barcode" option and place the online boarding pass face down on the barcode reader**

Step 3: Verify your name and destination on the screen

Step 4: Follow the on-screen prompts to issue your bag tags

Wait for a United Representative to assist you with your baggage. Present your Government-issued photo ID. All bags are screened by security for your safety.

**If the barcode cannot be read or is not present, you may also enter your Confirmation number which is printed on your boarding document. Select "Enter Confirmation Number" on the screen and type in the six character number.

Curbside check-in
United also offers curbside check-in service for customers traveling within the United States. A United curbside representative will print your boarding pass and check your baggage so you can avoid lines at the ticket counter and proceed directly to security.
