Turkish Airlines is the national airline of Turkey based in İstanbul. It operates a network of scheduled services to 108 international cities (110 airports) and 31 domestic cities (32 airports), in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States. The airline's main base is Atatürk International Airport (IST), İstanbul, with secondary hubs at Esenboga International Airport (ESB), Ankara, and Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW), İstanbul.

Turkish is a member of the Star AllianceTM. The miles you earn on Turkish can be accrued in Mileage Plus. And the flight miles you earn qualify toward elite status in Mileage Plus. You earn one Elite Qualifying Mile (EQM) for each flight mile you earn and one Elite Qualifying Segment (EQS) for each segment you fly.

* As of July 1, 2008, all travel on Turkish Airlines credited to the Mileage Plus program accrues actual miles, with no minimum.

The miles accrued are determined by the operating airline. Please note that the booking class shown on your ticket may differ from the booking class relevant for mileage accrual.

The following flights are not valid for Mileage Plus accrual: 1) Flights marketed by non-Star Alliance carriers and operated by Turkish Airlines; 2) Charter and Haj flights operated by Turkish Airlines; 3) Flights operated by Anadolu Jet.

Ensure your Mileage Plus number is in your reservation at check-in. But if you do not receive your miles go to Retro Credit.

Star Alliance Awards allow you to redeem your Mileage Plus miles for award travel to more than 800 destinations worldwide. No matter which carrier or combination of carriers you choose, the Mileage Plus award levels are the same. They vary only by class of service and region.
