The Art Institute of Chicago
One of the great art museums of the world, the Art Institute of Chicago presents a collection spanning 5,000 years of artistic expression. The institute, which holds more than 300,000 works of art, is credited with one of the world's finest collections of impressionist art, 20th Century art and Japanese woodblock prints. Since 1993, United has provided financial and travel support to the Art Institute of Chicago.

  The Field Museum
The Field Museum is an educational institution concerned with the diversity and relationships in nature and among cultures. Home to the world's largest and most complete T. rex, Sue, The Field Museum welcomes thousands of visitors from around the world each year and is one of Chicago's top attractions. United proudly serves as the official airline of the museum, and supports its efforts to connect the museum's collections, public learning programs and research with a diverse public of varied ages, backgrounds and knowledge. United leadership serves on the museum's Board of Trustees.

  Asian Art Museum
The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco is one of the largest museums in the Western world devoted exclusively to Asian Art, with a collection of more than 17,000 artworks spanning 7,000 years of history. The museum is a public institution whose mission is to lead a diverse global audience in discovering the unique material, aesthetic and intellectual achievements of Asian art and culture. United is proud to be the Official Airline sponsor of the museum and support their efforts.

The Chicago Symphony Orchestra
The Chicago Symphony Orchestra(CSO) presents classical music to Chicago, national, and international audiences. United is a long-time sponsor of the CSO, whose sold-out performances and best-selling recordings have earned critical acclaim in the U.S. and around the world. As the Official Airline of the CSO, United provides support, including an executive that serves on the CSO board, which enables the orchestra to bring its music to the world.

  San Francisco Opera
The San Francisco Opera is the second largest opera company in North America. Its mission is to present opera performances of the highest international quality available to the widest possible audiences. In 2006, United became the organization's Official Airline and was proud to serve as a lead corporate sponsor of their first outdoor simulcast. The 2007 simulcast made the opera available to thousands in San Francisco's AT&T Park. United leadership is also involved with the Opera and is a member of their Board of Directors.

  The Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz
United serves as the official airline of The Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz, a nonprofit education organization founded in 1986 by the Monk family along with the late Maria Fisher, an opera singer and lifelong devotee of music. Through this partnership, United proudly unites the world's most promising young musicians with America's jazz masters in public school-based jazz education programs that benefit young people. United is also represented on the Institute's board of trustees.
