- Standard awards give you flexibility to fly at any time seats are available, in any class of service, on any United and United Express - without any restrictions.
- Star Alliance awards are available on the Star Alliance networks to over 850 destinations worldwide in more than 150 countries.
- United's mileage upgrade awards let you upgrade to the next class of service - United First or United Business - with your paid ticket on select one-way fares.
- Star Alliance upgrade awards allow you can redeem the miles you've earned for upgrade awards on many of our Star AllianceTM partners.
