Requesting a refund online
E-ticket refund requests online are available when the following criteria are met:
- You are a registered member on united.com with a Mileage Plus number and password.
- Your ticket is an e-ticket.
- Your e-ticket was purchased with a credit card.
- Your e-ticket is for travel within the U.S. and Canada.
- Your e-ticket was purchased with U.S. or Canadian currency.
- Your e-ticket number begins with 016 followed by 10 digits.
If all these critieria are met, visit Ticket refunds.
If the criteria above are not met, you can contact the Refund Department at 1-888-551-6881.
