Revenue Management

Revenue Management works closely with all areas of the company including Finance, Airport Operations, Sales, Marketing and Resource Planning on a variety of strategic initiatives and is the key driver of revenue decisions throughout the company.

Revenue Management is responsible for the overall revenue performance in domestic and international markets through pricing and inventory controls. The pricing group develops United's airfares with a goal of maximizing both market share and revenue. The inventory group establishes the number of seats to be sold per price point with the goal of maximizing revenue per flight.

We seek enthusiastic individuals with strong project management skills who are motivated and challenged by a fast-paced environment.

The best value
proposition of my job is that revenue management is a place where I perform both daily operations of pricing and inventory management and deal with strategic issues of the business at the same time. Strategy in RM is not merely about making some analysis in a vacuum. It is a unique opportunity to directly affect the bottom line together with realistic analysis and real life implementation.
