Resource Planning

Our Resource Planning analysts are primarily responsible for maximizing the economic value derived from United's route network and fleet assets. Work assignments range from long-term strategic planning analyses to short-term tactical aircraft allocation decisions regarding next month's schedule.

Many projects involve interacting with senior leadership to present findings and recommendations that help guide our senior leaders in key business decisions.  The majority of projects require coordination with multiple departments, particularly Revenue Management, Alliances, Finance, Regulatory Affairs and Marketing.

We seek individuals who have strong analytic, strategic and communication skills and are interested in the airline industry.

The greatest benefit
of working in Resource Planning at United Airlines is the perpetual intellectual challenge. A challenge that is derived from: identifying new market opportunities, quantifying consumer demand, evaluating potential competitor responses, and formulating successful economic strategies to capitalize upon those opportunities. Network Planning is a great post-MBA career option for those who thrive on creative thinking.
