Revised ticket policy

 

Ticket policy changes are effective immediately for customers with the following travel plans:

 

Dates and cities impacted

 

Traveling on January 12-14 2007

(with tickets purchased on or before January 12, 2007)

 

To, from, or through the following states/city:

Kansas
Missouri
Oklahoma
Dallas TX

 

Summary of reaccomodation policy changes

 

·         All United®, United Express®, TedSM and United code-share flights are covered under the policy.

 

·         Changes must be made by midnight of your original travel date.

 

·         For customers currently en route who would like to make one change to their return trip:  Rules and restrictions regarding standard change fees, advance purchase, day or time applications, blackouts, and minimum or maximum stay requirements have been waived.  Origin and destination cities must remain the same.

 

·         For customers who have not begun travel:  You may make one change to your travel plans without change fees or advance purchase requirement for the same itinerary.  For a new itinerary, you may make one change without change fees.  All rescheduled travel may be subject to higher fares if it does not meet original rule and booking code restrictions or is a new itinerary.

 

·         Only customers with already cancelled flights are eligible for a full refund.

 

·         Policies also apply to Mileage Plus, consolidator and internet tickets (including Hotwire and Priceline).

 

To change your reservation, please contact United at 1-800-United-1 or your travel agency.

 

United will continue to monitor the situation and adjust ticketing policies as necessary.

CHICAGO, March 16, 2006 - United Airlines has revised its ticketing policies for its customers with travel plans to and from Chicago and Rockford, Ill., and Madison and Milwaukee, Wis., affected by the Chicago snowstorm. These revised policies apply to all customers ticketed on or before March 16, for travel March 16-17, to and from these cities on any United®, United Express®, TedSM or United code-share flight.

For customers currently en route who would like to adjust a return trip, rules and restrictions regarding standard change fees, advance purchase, day or time applications, and/or minimum stay or Saturday night-stay requirements have been waived.

For passengers who have not begun travel, one change to the travel plans may be made without change fees or advance purchase requirement for the same itinerary. For a new itinerary, one change may be made without change fees. Rescheduled travel may be subject to higher fares if it does not meet original rule and booking-codes restrictions or is a new itinerary.

For all customers, only those with already canceled flights are eligible for a full refund.

Passengers may make these changes by calling their travel agency or United reservations at 1-800-UNITED-1 on or before the original travel date. Customers are advised to visit United's Web site at www.united.com or to call 1-800-UNITED-1 for flight status information as the situation progresses. United will continue to monitor the situation and adjust ticketing policies as necessary.

These temporary policies also apply to any Mileage Plus® tickets that meet these same date and itinerary guidelines.
