Seat assignments
Seat assignments are available at the time of booking. On most United Express aircraft, all of the seats are either window or aisle seats. On a limited number of flights, you may be asked, on the day of departure, to shift seats to allow for proper weight and balance.
Check-in
If you are connecting to a United, TedSM, Star AllianceTM or other codeshare flight, you will be checked in to your destination and receive a boarding pass for all flights. Your baggage will be checked to your final destination.
Aircraft
United Express has recently introduced new explusSM regional jets which offer exceptional space and comfort. Almost a quarter of the United Express fleet offer these new aircraft, the only regional jets in the sky with the amenities of United First® along with the extra legroom of United Economy PlusSM.
All United Express flights feature overhead storage bins, flight attendant service and on-board lavatories. In addition, planeside baggage check and retrieval is available for carry-on luggage.
Mileage Plus®
United Express is a full participant in United's Mileage Plus program. You'll earn one Mileage Plus mile for every mile flown on United Express, with a 500 mile minimum.
