We heard your feedback on our Hawaii co-pay amounts and, as a result, have lowered the Hawaii co-pay. This chart reflects the new, lower co-pay amounts between North America and Hawaii.

If you requested a Mileage Plus Upgrade Award between North America and Hawaii and have not yet traveled, the NEW, LOWER co-pay will be automatically applied, if your upgrade is confirmed.

Miles will be deducted from your Mileage Plus® account at the time of the request. If a co-pay is required, a credit card will need to be provided at check-in, but the applicable co-pay will only be charged if you receive an upgrade. All co-pay amounts will be charged in USD.

If you requested a Mileage Plus Upgrade Award on or before January 11, 2010, for travel after this date, refer to the previous award chart (45 KB) to calculate the miles required for your upgrade.
