In honor of United's 75^th anniversary April 6, 2001, Pace Communications published a special edition of the airline's HEMISPHERES inflight magazine. In addition to vintage photos, it featured an interview with an early stewardess. United commemorated the milestone by issuing a 75th anniversary lapel pin for employees.
