United Air Lines promoted an all-expense wedding package to Reno, Nev., in the early 1930s. The package included air travel, a marriage license, services of a minister or justice of the peace, a lovely room in a Reno hotel for one day, a wedding dinner for one couple, flowers for the bride, rice, old shoes and privacy.
