Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum
United expresses its fascination with the sky by supporting the Adler Planetarium, the first planetarium in the western hemisphere. John G. Shedd Aquarium
United is proud to be the Official Airline of the Shedd Aquarium – widely regarded as the World’s Aquarium. The aquarium is one of the most visited cultural attractions in Chicago.
Lincoln Park Zoo
United has a rich history of involvement with the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago - home to more than 1,000 animals. As the Official Airline of Lincoln Park Zoo, United provides travel support which helps the zoo’s conservation programs. Since 1991, United has been the title sponsor of the annual United Run For the Zoo. This Chicago event attracts more than 10,000 participants for a morning of healthy physical activities while raising funds for the maintenance of the zoo. The zoo is the only major cultural institution in Chicago that is free 365 days a year.
Lookingglass Theatre Company
United is the Official Airline of the Lookingglass Theatre Company, one of Chicago’s most respected ensembles. United’s support helped play a part in enabling the company to move to its new home in the historical Water Tower Water Works – in the heart of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile.
Museum of Science and Industry
United’s partnership with Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry has endured for almost half a century.
