Rancher Dan Evans struggles to support his family after losing a leg in the Civil War. So when a local sheriff captures the outlaw Ben Wade, Evans decides to earn $200 by joining the posse escorting Wade. The mission to take the killer to the 3:10 train to Yuma Prison is fraught with danger. Wade tries to bribe Evans into letting him go, and, meanwhile, Wade’s gang is planning an ambush.
