United is investing more than $50 million to renovate several United ClubSM locations. We are working to create the best and largest club network of any U.S. carrier. This effort includes upcoming renovations to United Club locations around the world.
Our newly designed locations
Our new club design features more comfortable seating areas to relax or work and a refreshed bar where you can enjoy complimentary beverages as well as premium wines and spirits. The new design also offers additional workstations and abundant power outlets. All of the locations also have retro airline artwork and unique views.
In 2014, we opened new United Club facilities at Boston Terminal B in April as well as San Francisco Terminal 3 and London Heathrow Terminal 2 in June. United unveiled a United Global FirstSM Lounge at London Heathrow Airport. We are also making other significant improvements to many of our domestic and international United Club locations.
Investing in our Wi-Fi service
We know that staying connected while traveling is extremely important. To improve the overall quality and exclusivity of the Wi-Fi experience for our United Club members and guests, we are implementing an authentication process to access Wi-Fi at our United Club locations in the U.S. We plan to have the authentication process in place in 2014.
Expanded beverage selections
We are always looking for ways to enhance our customers’ United Club experience with a variety of product selections. As part of these efforts, we refreshed and expanded our beverage offerings in 2013.
