With more than 100 of your favorite TV channels, plus new release Hollywood movies, you'll stay entertained for your entire flight.

DIRECTV is available on select aircraft. Please refer to the "Fleet status" tab below. The service is complimentary in United First® and is available for purchase in United Economy® for $5.99 for flights two hours and less and $7.99 for flights over two hours.

Pre-paid discount

When you pre-pay for four or more credits of DIRECTV®, you’ll pay just $4.99 each. To purchase your credits, click here.

How it works

Just swipe any major credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover Card and Diners Club/Carte Blanche) or debit card (MasterCard and Visa), and you will be instantly taken to the Channel Guide to select your program. DIRECTV® is available from the time you board the aircraft until the door opens at the next gate.

If you have purchased your DIRECTV® access in advance, simply swipe the credit card you used to make the purchase when at your seat. You will not be charged again.

Coverage area

Coverage Map Since the programming is live from DIRECTV®, a flight may take you out of the satellite coverage area. If this happens, recorded TV shows and premium movies will still be available.
