Membership

• New United Club memberships are subject to a one-time initiation fee of 50.00 USD. Renewal memberships are not subject to the enrollment fee. If a membership has been expired for more than 30 days it is considered a new enrollment.
• Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Membership is open to individuals 18 years of age and older.
• Members agree to receive email notification of member offers and renewal notification.
• United reserves the right to terminate or deny membership at any time by advising the member or prospective member and returning a prorated share of the dues payment.
• In connection with a membership purchase, a spouse/domestic partner membership may be purchased at a discounted rate. A copy of the marriage certificate or an affidavit of marriage/spouse equivalency is required to obtain a membership card for a spouse/domestic partner with a different last name.
• Term: United Club membership is an annual membership. The member may cancel the membership and receive a refund of the membership fee before or within the first seven days of the new membership period, provided the member has not visited a United Club or partner lounge during the new membership period.
• Cancellation: Automatically renewed memberships may be cancelled and the membership fee for the new membership period may be refunded before or within the first seven days of the new membership period, provided that the member has not visited a United Club or partner lounge during the new membership period. Admittance

• A valid membership card or one-time pass is required for admittance. Government-issued photo identification may also be required.
• United representatives will retain membership cards that are expired or presented by anyone other than the member. 
• The guest limit for United Club locations in the United States is two per member, or spouse and dependent children. The guest limit in the United Clubs outside the United States is one per member, or spouse and dependent children.
• Member must accompany and remain with their family members or guests.
• A one-time pass admits one person, with no guest privileges.
• Replacements of lost or stolen membership cards may be requested in writing or by calling the United Club Service Center. There is a fee for replacing cards.
• United reserves the right to limit club access to members traveling on same-day tickets.
  United reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone who interferes with the business like atmosphere of United Club.

 
Atmosphere and attire

• Customers must dress in keeping with good taste and in consideration of the United Club atmosphere and its membership.
• United reserves the right to terminate any membership or remove any member for inappropriate conduct, including, but not limited to, conduct that is disruptive, abusive or violent, or for failing to comply with membership terms and conditions.
• Solicitation in a United Club location is prohibited.
• Members and guests may not bring food or beverages into any United Club location.
• Food, beverages, and periodicals provided are for consumption and use in the lounge and may not be removed.
• Smoking is not permitted in any United Club location.
• Service animals are welcome. Pets accompanying customers onboard the aircraft must remain in their pet kennels.
• Airport luggage carts are not permitted inside United Club locations.
  United will not be held responsible for articles lost or stolen in any United Club location.

 
Conference rooms

• Conference rooms are available for an hourly nominal fee.
• Members receive a discount off the normal hourly fee rate. Non-members may rent a conference room in addition to purchasing a one-time pass.
• A credit card is required at the time of reservation. Failure to cancel a reservation at least 48 hours in advance may result in a charge to your credit card for the cost of the first hour.

 
Acceptance

• United Club considers membership and/or use of any location an acceptance of these terms and conditions.
• United reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time with or without written notice to our members and customers.
• United will not be liable for delays or failure in performance under your membership agreement with United Club caused by acts of God, war, strike, labor dispute, work stoppage, fire, acts of government, or any other cause, whether similar or dissimilar, beyond our control.
• United reserves the right to restrict, alter or modify the fees, amenities, services, Club hours, locations, reciprocal lounge agreements at any time with or without written notice to our members and customers.
