It's easy for recipients to create and easy for gift-givers to use. Simply sign up at united.com and create your registry. You'll then be allowed to create and send announcements to several friends and family members, which will include instructions on how they can make deposits into your TravelBank. You can use the money in your TravelBank to purchase airfare on United.

It's the perfect gift for any occasion, including holidays, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and graduations.

Gift registry terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to the purchase and usage of a united.com gift registry:

1. Redeemable only on united.com.
2. Only one gift registry is allowed per MileagePlus® member.
3. Only one owner per Gift Registry is allowed and that owner must be a MileagePlus member.
4. A minimum $25 USD deposit is required.
5. If the full amount in the TravelBank is not used for a transaction, you can use the balance toward the purchase of another ticket within the original validity period.
6. Registries will expire after 24 months of inactivity. After that time, the remaining amount will be   issued in the form of an electronic travel certificate. The travel certificate is valid for one year from the date when it is originally issued to the account owner.
7. Valid only for air travel purchases, including ticket price, taxes and surcharges.
8. Deposits made to the TravelBank are nonrefundable.
9. Accounts are non-transferable.
10. TravelBank funds cannot be used as a form of payment in combination with Bill Me Later®, online check by TeleCheck®, cash, gift certificates, or United Airlines travel certificates.
11. Not valid in conjunction with any other programs (such as MileagePlus award travel).
12. Valid with any fare types (including United E-Fares).
13. Mileage accrual is allowed in conjunction with applicable fare rules for the ticket being purchased. MileagePlus mileage credit is allowed.
14. Each ticket purchased is eligible for any MileagePlus online booking bonus applicable to the ticket at the time of purchase.
15. The amount in the TravelBank will be applied to the total price of the airline ticket(s) in any one transaction.
16. All rules and travel restrictions of the purchased fare apply.
17. Not combinable with MileagePlus award travel.
18. Passenger is responsible for all taxes/fees/surcharges, including passenger facility charges, international departure tax, customs users immigration fees, agricultural tax and airport security charges and must pay them at time of ticketing.
19. United's Contract of Carriage applies to all travel. In the event of flight disruptions, alternate travel will be provided only on United Airlines or the applicable codeshare partner.

You can search for gift registries by last name on united.com. Once the correct registry has been located, you can select the recipient and enter a contribution of your choice.

Where can I redeem this product?
Gift registries are only redeemable on united.com from U.S. points of sale.

Do I have to be a MileagePlus member in order to create a gift registry?
Yes, all gift registry owners must be MileagePlus® members.
